ACSCare is our comprehensive specialty pharmacy adherence and clinical management programs and services developed by ACS to support patients receiving specialty medications and to optimize patient outcomes to these treatments. These programs provide comprehensive adherence support and specialized clinical management for specific treatment protocols and related disease state through an efficient care delivery model. Through this program, our patient care specialists work in conjunction with our clinical team to provide compliance management, patient education, proactive side effect management and other clinical interventions. Our programs are supportive of and provided in conjunction with the physician’s plan of care. We monitor patient progress on therapy and document specific outcomes indicators.
As part of our ACSCare programs, ACS also provides the unique service of individualized blister packaging of oral medications. Complex dosing, multiple compound therapies, appropriate/accurate dosing, adherence and safe handling requirements create a need for this high touch level of service.
